Now available for your downloading and reading pleasure we give you e-books, audio books, and music for your Nook, Kindle, Sony E-Reader, Android, Black Berry, iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac computer. You can now browse and check out from our selection anywhere and at any time. Access Overdrive through your account or go to OK Virtual Library.

Dream Big Read! Summer Reading Program
Summer is here and school is out...and you know what that means, all you desperate parents who need to occasionaly escape your child. It means that it's time for the Summer Reading Program here at the Alva Public Library. But to ensure that your child(ren) get in you need to sign them up today! For the Summer Reading Program enrollment form click here, print it and fill it out and then bring it to the Alva Public Library before May 29th and I hope to see you and your young ones this summer.
Alva Public Library is Starting an ANIME CLUB!!! 
• What is it? Do you like anime, Japanese cartoons, and can’t get enough of it? Then this club is for you. Come and watch anime and meet others who share your passion.
• Who is this for? This is for 6th grade through 12th grade. The videos will be PG-13.
• Where is it at? This club will be held at the Alva Public Library in the Auditorium, down stairs.
• When will it be held? Monday, April 23, 4:00pm & Friday, May 4, 3:30pm (The Club will meet the First Friday and the Third Monday of the Month.)

Friends of the Alva Public Library
Friends of the Alva Public Library sponsors the annual Chocolate Fantasy and “Let’s Talk About It Oklahoma” book talks, assists the library with other programs, and maintains a used book cart for the sale of used books.
Membership is open to anyone and dues are $10.00 per year.
