Now available for your downloading and reading pleasure we give you e-books, audio books, and music for your Nook, Kindle, Sony E-Reader, Android, Black Berry, iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac computer. You can now browse and check out from our selection anywhere and at any time. Access Overdrive through your account or go to OK Virtual Library.

You will need your library card number (if you're unsure, call us) and your PIN number (your entire phone number hyphens included Ex 555-5555)

Summer Reading Program!!

The Summer Reading Program is a free program and if you wish for your child(ren) to sign up then hurry down to the Alva Public Library to pick or turn in a form. Sign up ends May 30th.

The Summer Reading Program is on Tuesday and Thursdays every week of June. For more information come down to the Alva Public Library or call us at 580-327-1833.

High School Summer Reading Program!!

This year we have an open High School Summer Reading Program. You don't have to sign up and you can start at any time. There will be a variety of prizes, $50 Amazon gift card, $20 food gift cards and more, will be given at the end of Summer. Alva Public Library is Starting an ANIME CLUB!!!

•What is it? Do you like anime, Japanese cartoons, and can’t get enough of it? Then this club is for you. Come and watch anime and meet others who share your passion.

•Who is this for? This is for 6th grade through 12th grade. The videos will be PG-13.

•Where is it at? This club will be held at the Alva Public Library in the Auditorium, down stairs.

•When will it be held?, 4:00pm on the first Friday and the third Monday of the month.
